The Holmes County Economic Development Council was created in 1994 to address economic development issues throughout Holmes County. Elected board members reflect varied segments of the economic base, such as agriculture, retail, finance, utilities, recreation, a developer, and a contractor, as well as geographic representation throughout the county.
