- We believe that the majority of offenders involved in misdemeanor criminal activities are basically good people who have stepped over the line of acceptable behavior - to the detriment of themselves and society.
- We believe that all criminal offenders must assume responsibiliy for their actions, regardless of the circumstances which may have contributed to their behavior.
- We believe that all criminals have the potential to redeem themselves if they so desire.
- We believe that redemption cannot occur without confession of wrong-doing, the willingness to accept the consequences, and a committment to live a law-abiding life.
The primary goal of our office is to provide the best possible service to the Courts by monitoring the compliance and progress of the offender, and to do so at the least possible expense to the taxpayers. Additionally, but equally important, it is our hope that the service we provide will assist in helping offenders toward self-rehabilitation for the benefit of themselves and society.
