The rules for Intensive Supervision vary greatly from case to case and are generally much more severe in nature. All cases are monitored closely by the Intensive Supervision Officer and all contacts are logged. The offender may spend some of his/her time in jail or in a treatment facility designated by the Judge. The sentence includes sanctions designed for rehabilitation, restitution, and punishment.
